WELCOME TO OVERBURY CRICKET CLUB - 2012 SEASON

Overbury Cricket Club was founded in 1886 and has long been an important part of village life. In recent times huge improvements have been made to its ground including a comfortable and well-equipped pavilion, pitch covers, double practice nets and bowling machine. We are always looking for new players and social members and you will not be disappointed with the facilities we have to offer.

We run two Saturday senior sides, currently in the 1st and 4th divisions of the Cotswold Hills League, plus a Sunday side that plays friendlies against local teams. We also take part in local midweek cup matches.

Youth cricket has been a very important part of Overbury CC for over 25 years and many of the senior players have come through the junior ranks. In 2012 we are running junior teams at U12 and U14 level within the Cotswold Hills Junior League. Youth practice will be held on Friday evenings from the end of April.

Last year's 125th anniversary celebrations included an Over 60s County Match (Worcs v Herts),Casino Night, Golf Day and the annual Six-a-Side competition, Family Fun Night, Club Awards Night and President's Match.
